In Hornochsen, game designer Wolfgang Kramer has transformed his popular 6 nimmt! card game into a more strategic one. The cards are numbered from 1 to 98, with some of the cards having green bullheads and others having red bullheads. The green bullheads are positive points, the reds are negative points. As in 6 nimmt!, players build on rows of cards: the player placing the fifth card in a row, takes all the cards in that row.
In 6 nimmt!, players choose their cards simultaneously, then play them to the tableau in numerical order. In Hornochsen, however, players take turns sequentially, each playing one to three cards from their hands, thus allowing for more strategic play.
Note: This game is imported from Germany, so the rules are in German.
